The Crucifixion of Saint Peter

Lucy planned a wicked class last week. John the model managed to recreate all four poses from The Crucifixion of Saint Peter by Caravaggio.

Getting the composition was pretty hard and I couldn't stop trying to reference the

the actual painting even though I was looking at John from a completely different

angle.

Funny Perspective

A twenty minuter from life drawing class.

Water based ink, on 200gsm water colour paper.

I stuck two pieces of heavy water color paper together in order to have enough room for the run off. When its folded you get this weird perspective effect. Which is annoying because every time I do perspective I have trouble getting it right. But this happened totally unintentionally.
